LATEST FORECAST

Here’s meteorologist Tawana Andrew from WAVE News with her forecast.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Between 8:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m. ET tonight, we will experience another round of severe thunderstorms with damaging winds, isolated tornadoes, hail, and possibly widespread flash flooding. Please have multiple options to be alerted tonight.

Lows will be around 15 degrees. The rain will leave our area in the early hours of Monday morning, so we will have drier weather and some sunshine. A sudden shower in the afternoon cannot be ruled out, but for the most part it will remain dry. Highs on Monday will be around 27 degrees.

Isolated rain showers and showers may come from the north late Monday evening into the early hours of Tuesday morning. During this time there will be mostly only a few clouds, while lows will drop to 10 to almost 15 degrees.

Tuesday looks good with mostly sunny skies and highs between 21 and almost 27 degrees in the afternoon.

Wednesday and Thursday will be cooler days with highs around 21 degrees as cold air moves in from the north. Expect warmer air, more humidity and isolated thunderstorms again by next weekend.
