Gauteng man sentenced to life in prison for repeatedly raping and impregnating his stepdaughter

A stepfather has been sentenced to life in prison for repeatedly raping his wife’s underage daughter over four years and later impregnating the girl.

The 45-year-old man, who cannot be named to protect the victim’s identity, was sentenced on Tuesday by the Roodepoort Regional Court.

According to NPA regional spokesperson Phindi Mjonondwane, the victim was sexually abused when she was 11 years old.
