2 dead, 1 injured in shooting in the Bronx

According to the New York Police Department, two people were killed and another injured in a shooting in the Bronx.

The shooting occurred shortly after midnight Friday on Davidson Avenue in the Fordham Heights neighborhood.

According to police, a 36-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman died from gunshot wounds to the chest.

A 40-year-old man was also shot in the arm, police said. He was in stable condition and taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital.

Two suspects dressed entirely in black fled the scene on a moped, police said.

The identities of the victims will be kept secret until their families are notified.

No arrests were made at that time.
