Shooting investigation underway on Jacksonville’s west side, says police sergeant – Action News Jax

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is on the scene of a shooting at Normandy Boulevard and Lane Avenue.

When Action News Jax arrived at the scene, we saw several patrol cars and crime scene cordons blocking off a side street. There appears to be a sedan in a CareSpot parking lot with its rear window blown out.

A JSO sergeant on scene told Action News Jax that investigators are investigating a shooting in the area.
