Waterbury police are investigating a homicide Monday morning

WATERBURY, Conn. — Waterbury police are investigating a homicide early Monday morning, officials said.

According to officials, police were called to an area on Sharon Road near Wolcott Avenue. Waterbury police have not yet said how many people were involved in the killing or identified the victim. Waterbury police also have not said how the person died.

FOX61 has a team on site and will provide updates as they become available. Police tape was seen outside the So Blu’Niq venue on Wolcott Avenue.
