Andrew Tate has been charged with rape in the UK

Andrew Tate was served with a lawsuit at his home in Romania on Wednesday by four British women who claim he raped and physically assaulted them.

The law firm representing the women, McCue, Jury and Partners, gave a Press release This confirms that the social media influencer turned human trafficker has been presented with a civil case for a case in the High Court in London.

The women’s identities were kept anonymous to “protect them from harm and harassment by Tate, his associates and followers,” the lawyers said.

The women accuse Tate of rape, physical abuse and contracting sexually transmitted diseases, The Lead reports. Two of the women say Tate choked her until the blood vessels in her eyes burst, and another woman accused Tate of trying to blackmail her with nude pictures.

An accuser also said the former kickboxer texted her: “I love raping you.” A spokesman for Andrew Tate denied the claims, calling the claims “provably false.”

“Andrew’s legal team will vigorously defend him against these malicious allegations.”

Tate, 37, is currently awaiting trial in Romania on rape and human trafficking charges; Prosecutors say he and his brother Tristan formed a criminal gang to exploit women there by forcing them to become cam girls.

The brothers are also facing charges in the UK over alleged “sexual aggression” between 2012 and 2015, but their extradition would only take place after their trial in Romania.

The lawsuit, served on Wednesday, concerns allegations reported to British police in 2014 and 2015. The Crown Prosecution Service decided not to prosecute the case in 2019.

“The criminal justice system has failed these women; Civil suits are their final route to justice,” their lawyers said.
