Jalebi Baba Baba, lodged in Hisar Jail in Haryana, has died. Baba was accused of raping more than 100 women by giving them intoxicating tea and making obscene videos of them. In this case, he has been in his country’s central prison since January 2023.

Jalebi baba, who was lodged in Hisar Central Prison No. 2, died in the prison itself. The name of Jalebi Baba, who lived in Tohana, Fatehabad, was Amarpuri alias Jalebi Baba alias Billu. He originally lived in Mansa, Punjab. It is said that he suffered a heart attack. He was taken to hospital for treatment, where he died.

In 2017, obscene video violations occurred

In October 2017, obscene videos of female devotees were released at Jalebi Baba’s ashram in Tohana. There was a lot of turmoil there at that time. The police had registered a case against Jalebi Baba in this matter. The police arrested him and sent him to prison on the court’s orders.

The court found him guilty of rape

On January 10, 2023, the court found Jalebi Baba guilty of raping a minor girl and sentenced him to 14 years in prison. The court also found accused Baba guilty of raping some women and sentenced him to seven years in prison. He was also sentenced to five years imprisonment under the IT Act. The court had ordered that all sentences be imposed concurrently. Jalebi Baba, who was serving his sentence in Hisar Prison since January 2023, died of heart failure.
