According to Schertz Police: Man arrested after woman dies from multiple gunshot wounds

SCHERTZ, Texas — Schertz police said their officers found a woman killed by multiple gunshots late Friday evening.

Shortly after 11 p.m., officers received a call of shots fired in the 11600 block of Voges Pass. When they arrived, they discovered the victim had multiple gunshot wounds, police said.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators said an unidentified man was arrested as they worked to determine the nature of the murder and what led up to the shooting.

The Texas Rangers are also assisting investigators in this ongoing case, Schertz police said.

The victim’s age and identity are being determined by the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office.
