Man killed in South Seattle murder, police say

Investigators have not yet been able to determine what led to the fatal shooting.

SEATTLE – Police are investigating a homicide in South Seattle after a man was killed in a shooting early Sunday morning.

Shortly before 4:30 a.m., Seattle police were called to a shooting near 25th Avenue South and South College Street. Officers found a man with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics, police said.

Investigators have not yet been able to determine what led to the fatal shooting.
