Minor killed in head-on collision in Benton County

GARFIELD, Arkansas (KNWA/KFTA) – A minor was killed in a head-on collision in Benton County Saturday morning, according to an accident report.

According to the report, the minor was riding a dirt bike west on Main Street in Garfield as he approached a curve while a 2000 Dodge Dakota was traveling east on the same road.

The Dodge collided head-on with the dirt bike and came to a stop on the side of the road.

The minor was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died, the report said.

At the time of the accident, conditions were clear and dry.
