A pedestrian is killed in an accident on Route 38 in Cherry Hill, lanes are closed

CHERRY HILL – Police report a fatal accident on Route 38.

The incident involving a pedestrian occurred on the highway around 11:10 p.m. on Friday, according to the New Jersey State Police.

According to the township police Facebook page, the westbound lanes between Haddonfield Road and Chapel Avenue were closed for several hours Friday evening into Saturday morning.
