Braves vs. Mets lineup: Adam Duvall opens, Ramon Laureano centers

Atlanta’s lineups this season have gone from solid in the opener to a gradual decline after all the injuries and bad luck. This one could be a new low, though, with Adam Duvall leading the way with a 67 wRC+ and -0.5 fWAR. To be fair, this is against a left-handed starting pitcher and Duvall has fared better against lefties, but the point remains the same. Jarred Kelenic has the day off, which also means Ramon Laureano is playing center field. Luke Williams rounds out the outfield, playing left field and hitting ninth. Travis d’Arnaud gets the nod at catcher after Murphy saw Saturday’s game. Not great!

Meanwhile, the Mets have shuffled their lineup somewhat, though with Franciso Alvarez joining the lineup at catcher and Nimmo moving to designated hitter, with Taylor replacing him in center and Gamel replacing Stewart.

Today’s game starts at 1:40 p.m. ET in New York and can be viewed on Bally Sports Southeast or MLB.tv.
