Vehicle drives over embankment in Quiet Dell, one transported

QUIET DELL, W.Va. (WBOY) – One person was transported following a car crash on Buckhannon Pike.

Harrison County’s emergency log shows that at 8:57 a.m. Saturday, departments were notified of a car crash with unknown injuries near the intersection of Round Water Drive in Quiet Dell.

When emergency responders arrived at the scene, a vehicle was “35 feet above the embankment on its roof,” according to the public account. One person was transported by ground to United Hospital Center. The extent of their injuries is unknown.

The Nutter Fort and Stonewood fire departments, along with Anmoore EMS, Harrison County Sheriff’s Office and the West Virginia Division of Highways, responded to this incident.
