News from Rockaway Beach: 15-year-old boy found dead on subway tracks in Queens, NYC

ROCKAWAY BEACH, Queens (WABC) — A 15-year-old boy was found dead on the tracks of a subway station in Queens early Friday evening.

The NYPD responded to a 911 call at approximately 5:30 p.m. at the Beach 90th Street subway station in Rockaway Beach.

When officers arrived, they found the boy lying unconscious on the subway station tracks. Police said the victim had suffered head trauma.

The emergency services also responded and declared the boy dead at the scene of the accident.

Authorities are still trying to determine how the boy died.
