Twitch streamer Baller banned after Walmart incident

The streamer was banned after a chaotic incident at Walmart that violated the platform’s community guidelines.

Twitch streamer Baller was banned from the platform after a viral clip of him and his friend setting off fireworks at a Walmart store was posted.

On July 22, 2024, Baller’s stream showed him and fellow streamer Hatecaps setting off fireworks at a Walmart checkout. The video captures their panic as a man attempts to extinguish the fireworks shortly after they go off.

Walmart employees attempted to intervene, but Baller and Hatecaps fled into the store’s parking lot. It remains unclear whether staff or authorities arrested them.

Following the incident, Baller’s Twitch channel was suspended and the following message was displayed: “This channel is temporarily unavailable due to a violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.”

However, Hatecaps has not been banned from Twitch at the time of writing. While the exact reason for the ban is unknown, the stunt clearly violates Twitch’s Terms of Service regarding prohibited content.
