Tolleson Silver Alert: 67-year-old man found safe and sound

PHOENIX – Authorities lifted a Silver Alert Monday after finding a 67-year-old West Valley man who had been missing since last week.

Tolleson police say Robert Yates of Tolleson is safe and reunited with his family after landing at a Phoenix hospital.

Yates was reported missing on July 18 in early July. He was last seen the previous evening around 7 p.m. when he left his house for a walk.

He did not have his cell phone with him when he disappeared and suffers from a medical condition that can cause him to become confused or lost.

The Silver Alert was issued after detectives searched the area and were unable to locate him.
