Tensions rose dramatically as a huge herd of buffalo approached. Clouds of dust rose as the stampede descended on the scattered cubs. As the buffalo closed in, one of the cubs found itself isolated and in imminent danger. Desperate for shelter, the cub first took cover behind a bush before climbing a broken marula tree.
