Traffic accident: Silas Creek Pkwy and Yorkshire R. are closed

WINSTON-SALEM, NC — Winston-Salem police said a crash closed the southbound lanes of Silas Creek Parkway between Yorkshire Road and Kirklees Road Wednesday morning.

According to police, the road is expected to be closed for a long time due to broken power lines.

Update: The road has been reopened.
