Red Dead Redemption meets The Witcher in free Steam download

A new game on Steam is a spiritual crossover between Red Dead Redemption 2 And The Witcher 3and currently offers a free demo for download.

Soulslinger: Messenger of Death is a cross between Red Dead Redemption (in reference to the fact that it is set in a western world and you take on the role of a cowboy gunslinger) and The Witcher (in reference to the fact that players get the opportunity to hunt demons and ghouls that roam the world trying to cause trouble).

There is currently a free demo of the game available on Steam, but keep in mind that the game is currently in Early Access, so even if you buy the game (which is currently discounted), you will only get access to limited content. Additionally, there is a chance that you will encounter bugs and glitches on your journey through the western world presented to you as a player.

“Become an emissary of death and unleash incredible powers that will make you the most dangerous soul in Limbo. Upgrade your character’s skills to become the ultimate soul slinger and face thrilling challenges in a bloody war against the crime cartel of the afterlife,” says the game’s Steam page.

The Steam page also promises players a high level of customization for their character and allows them to travel through a rogue-lite environment and drive their enemies insane.

“Forge your own destiny with each run by crafting powerful weapons and unlocking permanent upgrades in Haven. Grow stronger with each new challenge and become an incredibly deadly gunslinger,” concludes the site, which promises a “fast-paced rogue-lite FPS experience you’ll never forget.”
