Truck rollover and fuel leak disrupt traffic on MassPike in Boston

According to the Mass 511 website, there is a traffic backup due to an accident on the east side of the Massachusetts Turnpike in Boston near Exit 131, Cambridge Street.

At around 11 a.m., a semi-truck overturned on the east side of the highway and lost fuel, according to a post by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation on X (formerly Twitter).

Cleanup of the fuel spill will continue and traffic will be diverted from the main road at exit 131, the post said.

MassDOT reported that injuries occurred in the accident, but did not provide information on the number of injuries.
