Hit-and-run accident kills six-year-old | NEWSRADIO 1040 WHO

(Des Moines, IA) – A fatal pedestrian accident occurred in Des Moines, Iowa, killing a six-year-old boy.

The incident occurred Sunday afternoon at 2201 George Flagg Parkway.

Despite resuscitation efforts and transport to the local hospital, the victim died.

The accident is currently under investigation. It is the ninth traffic-related death in Des Moines this year, three of which involved pedestrians.

No charges have been filed against the driver so far.
