2 people in hospital, 1 dead in stabbing

BROOKE COUNTY, W.Va. (WTRF) — Officials say Brooke County Emergency Management received a 911 call at approximately 1:58 a.m. regarding a stabbing at Mustang Sally’s Bar in the Hooverson Heights neighborhood of Brooke County.

According to authorities, officers found three people with stab wounds when they arrived.

Two were taken to hospital, the third was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is still ongoing and no names have been released yet.
