FORECAST DISCUSSION:

Happy Wednesday evening,

It was another very warm and humid day with highs around 35 degrees and a heat index above 35 degrees. This evening, isolated showers in the northwest will quickly subside, giving way to muggy conditions and above-normal temperatures between 21 and 25 degrees.

On Thursday it will be a little warmer with more sunshine and maximum temperatures around 35 degrees. An isolated appearance, mainly in the north, in the afternoon cannot be ruled out. On Friday the probability of an appearance could remain very low, with maximum temperatures between 35 and 35 degrees.

Saturday will be hot, possibly the hottest day of the week, with highs above 90 degrees and humidity high as well. For this reason, the NWS has extended the heat advisory through Saturday night. Sunday will likely see a cold front finally arrive, with highs still above 90 degrees. We could see a few more strong storms with the cold front late Sunday.

On Monday the skies will clear, the air will become drier and maximum temperatures will be around 27 degrees. On Tuesday there will be prolonged sunshine, with maximum temperatures around 35 degrees. On Wednesday there will be some showers later in the day, with maximum temperatures again around 35 degrees.
