Second suspect arrested after aggressive street brawl at LAX airport that left innocent woman unconscious

LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Los Angeles Police have located and arrested the second of two men allegedly involved in a driver aggression incident at LAX airport that left an innocent woman knocked unconscious.

On Friday, the LAPD announced the arrest of 38-year-old Jasan Givens Sr. He was located around 10 a.m. Friday in the area of ​​Western and West Florence Avenues and taken into custody without incident. Givens was charged with aggravated assault and bail was set at $50,000.

The other man allegedly involved in the incident turned himself in earlier this week.

The brawl on May 31 was recorded by a surveillance camera.

The two men argue and one runs after the other near the check-in area. They collide with the woman who is checking in her luggage and knock her over. She appears to have hit her head on the ground.

“The two people collided with the elderly woman, causing her to fall to the ground and lose consciousness,” police said.

Both suspects continue to fight on the ground while the woman lies unconscious next to them.

The victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition but has since been released, according to LAPD. Police said the woman is improving and in good spirits.

The LAPD said the second man involved in the brawl, who is seen shirtless in the video, turned himself in on Monday. Both suspects are charged with aggravated assault.
