Normal temperatures on Saturday. Heat begins on Sunday

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) – Temperatures are expected to remain warm throughout the evening, only dropping to just under 70 degrees around sunset. The air will feel less humid, however, as some of the atmospheric moisture leaves our area, at least temporarily.

Saturday will be a little cooler and less humid, with highs around 27 degrees.

Then, on Sunday, Father’s Day, the maximum temperatures will rise to almost 30 degrees and next week we will experience several days in a row with 32 degrees. Monday to Friday next week are Level yellow First warning weather days because of the dangerous heat and perceived temperatures of about 38 degrees per day.

There may be isolated thunderstorms on these hot and humid days, but this is a result of the heat of the day and you can expect the next seven days to be mostly dry.
