Body found behind dumpster in Thomasville

THOMASVILLE, NC — Shortly before 5 p.m. on Wednesday evening, Thomasville police were called because an unconscious person had been found behind a dumpster on National Highway 504.

When we arrived at the scene, the body was pronounced dead. The victim was identified as 23-year-old Jayden Matthew Vance, who was reportedly homeless.

According to the police, there is currently no evidence of third-party negligence.
