1 dead and 2 injured in plane crash in Livingston

LIVINGSTON, Louisiana (WAFB) – The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a crash that left one person dead and two others injured in Livingston Sunday afternoon.

According to LPSO, the accident occurred around 2 p.m. near South Satsuma Road and Zack Wheat Lane.

Officials said the occupants were rescued before a fire broke out at the scene, and two people were flown to a hospital by helicopter. They are expected to survive.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
