Kyle Larson criticizes Kyle Busch for the accident at the Gateway.

Kyle Busch was unable to finish the race at Gateway due to a collision with Kyle Larson. Both drivers from Hendrick Motorsports and Richard Childress Racing had high hopes for the Enjoy Illinois 300, but unfortunately their races were ruined by the incident.

During Stage 2, Kyle Larson and Kyle Busch engaged in a fierce battle on the track. While attempting to pass the No. 8 Chevy, the No. 5 Chevy made a daring attack but collided with Busch’s car, causing both cars to spin and Busch’s car to sustain significant damage.

Larson and his team were recorded on the team radio expressing their frustration and blaming Busch for the accident. Larson claimed Busch drove into him and his team agreed, calling Busch a complete idiot. Despite suffering a flat tire, Larson was able to continue the race and finished in 10th place.

During the race at Gateway, Larson also spoke about the delay in his exemption because he missed the Coke 600 due to rain. He expressed confusion about the situation and questioned why there was such a delay. Larson even suggested that NASCAR might have to revise its rules to accommodate him and grant him an exemption.

The controversy surrounding Larson’s exemption is likely to continue, with debate raging over whether he truly deserves it and whether granting it would set a precedent that NASCAR may not want.
