A BASKETBALL HEAD COACH AT A LOCAL ORLANDO ACADEMY WAS ARRESTED AND IS WESH 2 NEWS MELLADO TELLS US HE HAS ALLEGEDLY BILLED PARENTS THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FOR THIS PROGRAM AND WAS USING IT FOR GAMING AND ONLYFANS SUBSCRIPTIONS INSTEAD TURNS. It all started as an investigation into unpaid vacation home and hotel stays, but the OSCEOLA County Sheriff’s Office claims it has uncovered a major misuse of funds by Mount Sports Academy head coach Roderick WILMONT. The head basketball coach at Mont Sports Academy in Orlando, Roderick Wilmont, is facing charges after the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office said he received money from his parents that was intended for tuition purposes, his personal vacations, gambling and OnlyFans subscriptions used. “It’s pretty sad, you know, because all of this was intended to help these kids develop their skills and get to the next level and show some results in improving their athletic skills,” said Marco Lopez, sheriff of the Osceola County. Lopez said investigators discovered the misuse of money after Wilmont was accused of booking vacation homes and hotel rooms in the Champions Gate area for his players, but not paying for the full accommodation, even though the players stayed there for months, giving him that Possibility to complete the payments. He never did that. “One, he owed about $19,000, and then they took some of the kids to a local hotel where they ended up having money there too,” Lopez said.
