Two arrested, one injured after shooting in Theodore – WKRG News 5

MOBILE, Alabama (WKRG) – The Mobile Police Department is investigating a shooting early Saturday morning in Theodore that left one person injured.

Two people were arrested. Laderion Oliver (22) and Maurice Moore (50) were both taken to Metro Jail and are charged with first degree assault.


According to MPD, officers heard gunshots around 12:50 a.m. while patrolling the area of ​​Theodore Dawes Road and Garden Grove Drive. A male victim was found with a gunshot wound in the 7400 block of Old Pascagoula Road.

He was taken to hospital; there is currently no current information on his condition.

According to MPD, witnesses said the shots came from a car. Shortly afterward, officers were able to locate the vehicle during a traffic stop. During the traffic stop, Oliver and Moore were arrested.
