Police are searching for a missing UC Davis student in distress

An 18-year-old UC Davis student, Diane Shoyeon Min, was reported missing on May 20, 2024.

(FOX40.COM) — UC Davis police are asking for the public’s help in locating a student who is “believed to be in distress.”

According to police, Diane Shoyeon Min was last seen on the evening of May 17 as she left campus and took Amtrak to Mission Street in San Francisco. She was reported missing late Monday evening.


Min is described as an 18-year-old Asian female, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing approximately 110 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Police said she was last seen wearing a dark top, dark pants and black shoes. Min is a first year student studying computer engineering.

Police advised anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact UC Davis police at (530) 752-1727.
