Motorcyclist dies after accident in Missoula

MAJOR CRASHES – A motorcyclist injured in a crash in Missoula on Saturday, May 4, 2024 has died.

Missoula police responded to the collision between a motorcycle and a pickup truck along the 200 block of South Orange Street just after 5 p.m

According to the Montana Highway Patrol, the 20-year-old motorcyclist was traveling northbound at a “high rate of speed” near the intersection of First Street when he lost control of his motorcycle.

The motorcycle crossed the street and struck a pickup truck traveling north on South Orange Street.



The motorcyclist was taken to St. Patrick Hospital, where he later died.

The man’s name has not been released at this time.

The 29-year-old driver of the pickup was not seriously injured.
