Sean “Diddy” Combs is seeking to dismiss one of the sexual misconduct lawsuits he is currently facing.

Diddy, 54, recently filed a motion to dismiss Jane DoeAccording to court documents obtained by TMZ on Friday, May 10, the lawsuit is set for 2023.

“The scant amendments to the original statement of claim cannot address the falsehoods and irremediable deficiencies in the new statement of claim,” Diddy’s lawyers wrote in the filing, claiming the incident never occurred. “As with the original complaint, it does not present a viable claim and must be dismissed.”

The court filing added: “Plaintiff cannot claim what day or time of year the alleged incident occurred, but claims to miraculously accurately remember the most sensitive details.” Accordingly, this case should now be filed under Caveat must be dismissed in order to protect the Combs defendants from further reputational damage and before further party and judicial resources are wasted.”

Eye-opening quotes about Diddy’s alleged behavior over the years

The rapper did not respond further to the dismissal request. Us weekly asked me for a comment.

Us had already confirmed in December 2023 that an anonymous woman using the pseudonym Jane Doe had sued Diddy for misconduct in the Southern District of New York. She claimed that she was a victim of sex trafficking and gang rape by the music mogul in 2008. Doe had claimed she was 17 years old at the time.

Diddy subsequently denied her “disgusting allegations” in a statement to Us.

“ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. For the past few weeks I have sat in silence and watched as people attempted to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy,” he said Us in a statement. “Disgusting allegations have been made against me by people looking for a quick payday.”

Diddy concluded: “Let me be clear: I did not do any of the terrible things that are being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth.”

Why were Diddy’s homes raided by federal agents? What you should know so far

Diddy was first accused of misconduct a month earlier as an ex-girlfriend Cassie (full name Casandra Ventura) sued him for rape and repeated physical abuse. Diddy vehemently denied the allegations before the lawsuit was settled a day later. Several other people have since made their own allegations against Diddy, which he has denied.

Amid the lawsuits, it was revealed in March that Homeland Security had searched Diddy’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami as part of a federal sex trafficking investigation. Diddy was not on the premises at the time, nor was he arrested or charged with a crime. His lawyer, meanwhile, condemned the allegations.

“There was a gross overuse of military force in the execution of search warrants at Mr. Combs’ residence,” Diddy’s attorney said Aaron Dyer told Us in a statement. “There is no excuse for the authorities’ excessive show of force and hostility or for the way his children and staff were treated.”
