State Police Calls: Child Endangerment Investigation Opened in Farmington Township

State Police based in Marienville responded to the following incidents:

Investigating child endangerment

Police received a report of child endangerment via ChildLine at approximately 8:54 a.m. on Wednesday, May 6.

According to police, the incident occurred on Monday, May 6, around 4:00 p.m. near Laurel Lane in Farmington Township, Clarion County.

The victim is a seven-year-old male from Leeper.

This investigation is ongoing.

DUI, drug possession in Forest County

According to a May 9 news release, state police in Marienville conducted a traffic stop on a 2011 Nissan Altima in the 41000 block of State Route 66 in Jenks Township, Forest County, on Thursday, May 2, at approximately 11:35 p.m .

Officer Slonaker said a passenger was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and was taken into custody.

It was determined that the driver had an active warrant for his arrest and he was also taken into custody and booked into the Clarion County Jail.

One person arrested is a well-known 46-year-old woman from Langeloth, Pennsylvania.
