Bills sign safety Kareem Jackson

The Buffalo Bills are adding depth at safety.

The team announced the signing of safety Kareem Jackson to a one-year contract. Jackson is a 15-year NFL veteran who finished the 2023 season with the Houston Texans. Jackson will wear No. 27.

On Monday, Sean McDermott announced that Mike Edwards would be out every week with a hamstring injury.

He started 193 of 203 regular-season games and eight postseason games during his NFL career with Houston (2010–18, 2023) and Denver (2019–23). Jackson totaled 954 tackles and 22 interceptions (three returned for touchdowns) during his career.
