Teenager shot in the head in North Philly recording studio – NBC10 Philadelphia

A Philadelphia police spokesman said a teenager was hospitalized Friday afternoon after being shot in the head.

Just before 5 p.m., officers were called to the 2600 block of Germantown Avenue in North Philadelphia for reports of a person with a gun, police said.

In the incident, a 15-year-old boy was shot in the left side of his head in a recording studio on the third floor of a building, officials said.

Police took the teenager to a nearby hospital where he is in critical condition, officials said.

The crime scene is currently being guarded while officers investigate, police said. No weapons were seized and no one has been arrested yet.
