Police: Child shot in Portsmouth, investigation ongoing

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – Portsmouth police are investigating a shooting that left a boy hospitalized.

It happened just before 5 p.m. on Tuesday in the 2600 block of High Street. Photos from the scene show a large police presence in the area.
