Sharon man accused of sexually abusing child | News

SHARON – A Sharon man is accused of sexual abuse of a child.

Aaron Lee Davis, 44, of 639 Spruce Ave., was charged Wednesday with aggravated assault on a child after an incident was reported March 26 at 10:47 p.m.

Police said during a forensic interview, a child told police that Davis abused her in June 2019 at his former residence on New Castle Avenue in Sharon. The child said Davis touched her inappropriately.

Davis was arraigned before District Judge Travis P. Martwinski and taken to the Mercer County Jail after failing to post bail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 24.
