Police: Brutal pervert beats and rapes NYC woman in store

A violent pervert beat and raped a woman in a store on a busy Queens shopping street this week, police said.

The madman entered a “commercial building” on Main Street and 40th Road in busy downtown Flushing at around 10:45 p.m. on Sunday and hit the 53-year-old woman on the head and face, police said.

He then raped the woman and ran away, police said.

The woman was taken to a local hospital where her condition is stable, authorities said.

A surveillance image released by the New York Police Department late Thursday showed the attacker entering a subway station through the turnstiles.

An NYPD spokesman could not name the business where the sexual assault occurred or say whether the victim worked there.
