One dead in motorcycle accident in Sarasota

SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – One person died in a motorcycle crash in Sarasota late Friday.

Deputies say it happened at the intersection of Tamiami and Landings just before 11:30 p.m.

Information is scarce, but we do know that the westbound lanes on the Landings are closed. Additionally, only one northbound lane is open on Tamiami.
