Speeding motorcyclist arrested for drug trafficking in Greenfield

SPRINGFIELD, Massachusetts (WGGB/WSHM) — A speeding motorcyclist was arrested for cocaine trafficking in Greenfield last month.

On June 22, just before 2:30 a.m., a police officer conducted a traffic stop because a motorcycle was exceeding the speed limit on Interstate 91.

The driver was arrested because he could not present any identification or papers for the motorcycle.

When police searched the motorcyclist, he was later identified as 37-year-old Joseph Cadorette of Williamstown, Vermont.

They found a crack pipe and two plastic bags containing crack cocaine.

Cadorette is now accused of several offenses.
