Hicksville man arrested for hitting man with knife during parking dispute at Franklin Square

A Hicksville man was arrested after a parking dispute at Franklin Square.

According to police, the owner of the OK gas station on New Hyde Park Road got into an argument with an employee of a nearby business because vehicles were parked on his property.

As News 12 learned, the situation escalated and gas station owner Daljit Singh (58) hit the other man in the neck and arm with a small knife.

The victim was taken to hospital. Singh is charged with assault and possession of a weapon.
