College area resident awakened by burglar in her bedroom

San Diego police have arrested a man after a woman woke up early Wednesday morning to find an intruder in her bedroom at a college neighborhood home.

The incident occurred around 4:40 a.m. at a home on Mary Lane Drive, police Sergeant Ariel Savage said.

“Looks like the male got scared and left the house,” Savage said.

He said police arrived quickly, found a man “somewhere outside” and took him into custody.
