Shooting at Hollywood Apartment Storeroom in Atlanta

ATLANTA — A man was seriously injured after a shooting at a northwest Atlanta apartment complex Wednesday, police said.

Atlanta police said the shooting happened at 1634 Hollywood Road NW, the address of the Hollywood Reserve Apartments. The apartment complex is near Springfield Missionary Baptist Church and within walking distance of Scott Elementary School in Atlanta’s Scott Crossing neighborhood.

When officers arrived on scene, the police department said they found the man with gunshot wounds.

Investigators said the man was taken to a hospital for treatment. Police did not provide further details, including whether there was a potential suspect.
