A mother was found dead in a house in Sacramento. Police are looking for a father and 2 children

The Sacramento Police Department is looking for two missing children, the investigators said they fled with their father from a house where their mother was found dead.

Shortly before 7:30 p.m. on Monday, officers were called to the 3700 block of Didcot Circle in the Oak Knoll neighborhood after a caller sought medical attention.

Firefighters declared a woman dead inside the home, and homicide detectives arrived to begin the death investigation, police said. The woman was not identified by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office.

Investigators were unable to locate the children and their father. Athena Lee, 4, and Mateo Lee, 2, are missing along with their father, Camron Lee, 38. He drives a gray 2023 Honda Passport.

“Investigators would like to speak with Camron (Lee) about the whereabouts of the children,” police said in a press release.
