Shocking video shows woman sprinting and smashing windshield of influencer’s car in incident of driving aggression

A video has captured the terrifying moment two women attacked a car, with one jumping on and smashing the windscreen, during a driving aggression incident in New Zealand. The footage was shot by social media influencer Chantelle Baker in Rangiora, Waimakariri.

Ms Baker reported that the blue Mazda Demio had cut off the right of way of another car behind her and after witnessing a near-collision, she slowed to 40 km/h and was subsequently rear-ended. News.com.au reported.

“They started yelling at me from their car and tried to signal me with signs and hands to stop so they could pass,” she said in a video posted on Instagram.

“Obviously I didn’t. We drive a few hundred meters and they decide to throw a rock at my car while my eight-month-old baby is sleeping in the back seat.”

Ms Baker said she spotted them a few minutes later on a side street and followed them to note their license plate number.

She stated that they drove to an area near the old police station where the shooting began.

In the video, two women get out of the Mazda and run toward the car driven by Ms. Baker, which she said was borrowed.

One of the women runs over the hood onto the windshield, breaking the glass.

The same woman approaches the driver’s door and tells Baker to “fuck off.”

Then she returns to the Mazda, Baker reverses and drives away.

The video has since gone viral on social media, garnering over 3.4 million views on Instagram.

New Zealand police told news.com.au that they were aware of the incident and that the investigation was still in its early stages.

The mother of one has almost 30,000 followers on Instagram.
