BRIDGEWATER, Mass. (WLNE) – Friends are remembering a woman who died in a crash on Interstate 495 in Bridgewater on July 6.

Lana Testa, 74, of Mashpee, suffered fatal injuries when the car she was riding in veered into the center lane and struck several trees.

The driver of the car, a man in his 70s, was taken to Boston Medical Center with “critical injuries.”

In a Facebook post, A Primitive Place Magazine, a homestyle country magazine, said Testa has been a dedicated supporter and contributor to A Primitive Place magazine since its inception.

Testa was also a seasonal doll maker and shared her creations on her Facebook and Instagram pages through her handle @winterberryprimitives.

“Her passion and creativity have left an indelible mark on our community. A gifted doll maker, Lana has brought joy and inspiration to many with her exclusive creations, each one a testament to her exceptional talent and meticulous craftsmanship,” the post said.

“Lana’s dolls were more than just works of art; they embodied her spirit, love and dedication to the primitive arts. Lana’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those touched by her work,” the post said.
