Third suspect arrested in fatal Juneteenth shooting at Old Settlers Park | Texas

ROUND ROCK, Texas — A third suspect has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting that occurred June 15 at Old Settlers Park during Round Rock’s annual Juneteenth celebration, leaving two people dead and 14 injured.

On Saturday, July 6, 18-year-old Keshawn Dixon was arrested in Killeen and booked into the Bell County Jail. He is charged with deadly conduct, a third-degree felony, with additional charges possible, according to a news release from Round Rock police.

On Friday, June 21, around 8:30 p.m., a male juvenile suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Williamson County Juvenile Detention Center, the source said.

Members of the Lonestar Fugitive Task Force arrested 17-year-old Ricky Thompson III of Manor around 7:30 a.m. Thursday, June 20, in Pflugerville. He was booked into the Williamson County Jail and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony, with the possibility of additional charges, the release said.

The investigation is ongoing and Round Rock Police continue to pursue leads on additional suspects.
