Bhopal: A 28-year-old woman was allegedly lured into a friendship trap and raped by a 24-year-old man on the pretext of marriage at a hotel in Sukhi Sewania. Police said that the survivor works as a teacher in a private school. In her complaint, she stated that about a year ago, she went to a religious function where she met one Aman Yadav, a resident of Sukhi Sewania. He befriended her and the two started talking. She alleged that last year, Aman took her to a hotel in Sukhi Sewania and raped her there. When she protested, he promised to marry her. He repeatedly raped her and recently refused to marry her. Feeling cheated, the woman reported the incident to Sukhi Sewania police. Police have registered a case against the accused. TNN
