1 dead, 1 seriously injured after rollover accident in Greene Co. – WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio

XENIA TOWNSHIP – One person was killed in a car crash in Greene County Tuesday evening.

As reported in News Center 7 at 11am, At approximately 8:15 p.m., Xenia Township and Ohio State Highway Patrol officers were called to Wilberforce Clifton and Charleton Mill roads for a report of an accident involving serious injuries.

According to the OSP, an initial investigation revealed that a car had left the right side of the road, then re-entered the roadway and then left the left side, hit an embankment and overturned.

When the car tipped over, the passenger was thrown out of the car.

They were declared dead.

Another person suffered serious, life-threatening injuries and was flown to a nearby hospital.

There were four people in the car at the time of the accident, OSP said.

We are working to determine the identity of the person killed in the crash and to obtain additional information about the incident.
